The need for reliable and cost-effective front-end Cam engineering has never been greater. Fewer printed circuit fabricators in the US compete for the NPI and Prototype markets. Worldwide, there is a continuous need to reduce cost, increase quality and efficiency to stay ahead of competition. Reliable business process outsourcing services (BPO) are now a method by which PCB manufacturers can leverage technology skills, reduce engineering costs and retain redundancy for critical, time-consuming processes.

DFM Analysis/Quoting

We read in the job and provide a customer-specific attributes summary, stack-up and other critical data needed to respond to RFQs more accurately and at reduced processing costs. These services are available on a “seat” basis, whereby we provide a dedicated individual.

Pre-CAM

We read customer supplied electronic data (Gerber files, drawings, etc.). We align all layers, rename to customer naming conventions, do draw to flash conversions and perform other customer specific operations as well as output reports.

Scripting

We port pre-written customer scripts to our environment and develop in-house scripts specific to each customer. Provided with a SOW, we will create scripts for customer’s automation purposes. Skyla uses Perl, Python and TCL/TK for these scripts

Complete CAM Services

This includes generating complete job per pre-established specification including solder mask, silk screen, via plugging, gold plating, panelization, generating array, panelization per requirements. We also provide AOI, ET, LDI and any other customer/job-specific output.
